Ashleigh Pixley and Michael Toner, both of Arlington, proudly announce their engagement. Ashleigh is the daughter of Jerry and Rachel Pixley of Spotsylvania County and the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Gerald Pixley of Fredericksburg. Michael is the son of Ann Toner of Fredericksburg and Mark Toner of Fairfax. He is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. John Toner of Fairfax.
Ashleigh and Michael are both 2002 graduates of Massaponax High School. Ashleigh is a graduate of Virginia Commonwealth University in Richmond, with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in theatre performance and is employed as a manager at J. Crew in Reston. Michael is a graduate of James Madison University with a Bachelor of Arts in political science and is employed as an account executive at Business Wire in Arlington.
The wedding was held August 7, 2010, on the beach in Duck, North Carolina, at The Sanderling.
